Sustainability

Materials Recycled

Trees Saved

Gallons of Water Saved

We are dedicated to reducing waste by maximizing recycling efforts and continually improving our manufacturing procedures toward efficiency. We utilize the 3Rs in the 4-quadrants of our business to deliver on this vision:

1

Reduce

  • Reduced electrical power usage companywide by replacing fluorescent lighting fixtures with high efficiency bulbs
  • Reduced natural gas in Arkansas by over 71,000 ccf’s per year by replacing the heat transfer material in its regenerative thermal oxidizer with a more efficient advanced ceramic medium to improve thermal recovery
  • Reduced electrical power usage in Idaho by implementing air circulation technology
  • Reduced pallet usage by maximizing footage per film roll
  • Reduced 55 gallon drum usage by 50% through implementing a tote system
  • Reduced overall Trash to Landfill by 60%

2

Reuse

  • Reuse solvent waste by installing a solvent reclaimer in Idaho & Georgia where they have the ability to reclaim solvent on site at a 90% recovery rate and take used solvent out of commerce
  • Reuse pallets, boxes, and foam packaging material
  • Reuse corrugated pads, shipping tubes and foam padding as well as electronics by donating to local schools and businesses

3

Recycle

  • Most scrap/and or waste material: film, film cores, wood pallets, cardboard, light bulbs, solvent, scrap metal
  • Slop solvent through fuel blending and recycling
